Make-Me-Up-Monday: Surf Spray How-To

Happy Monday!

This sunny Monday we’re bringing you a fun and easy hair how-to!

We all love that textured look our hair gets after swimming in the ocean and spending time laying out on the sand, right? Disheveled, free-spirited, our hair takes it’s natural texture, its fun and liberating. Well, after a few dashes of this and a dollop of that, you’ll have your own DIY surf spray. This fun way to wear your hair will undoubtable come in handy this Summer or on that upcoming honeymoon.

 What You’ll Need:

Empty 8 oz. (or larger) spray bottle

Measuring cup/teaspoon

Sea Salt

Coconut Oil

Hair Gel

Water

1. Fill spray bottle with 8 Oz. of luke warm Water.

2. Add 1 tsp Sea Salt to water

3. Add 1/2 tsp. Coconut Oil

4. Add about a nickel-sized dollop of Hair Gel

Put cap on the bottle and shake really well.

Spray onto hair starting at ends and working your way up. As you do so, scrunch hair up towards the roots to create waves.

Let air dry.

*If your hair has a tough time creating waves on its own, apply the spray, scrunch and then create two braids, one on either side of your head. After your hair has air dried, take the braids out and finger comb.

That’s it!
