Make-Me-Up-Monday: Twisted & Braided Bridal Hairstyles

We all know that braids have been a top trend for quite a while but how about switching it up by including some twists. Twists are easier to do than some technical braids and are dressy enough to wear on your wedding day. Pin a flower, pretty hairpiece or cute bow to accessorize this flexible look. Hope these lovely images inspire new ideas for how to wear your hair in braids or twists for your bridal beauty look.

Braids work for every kind of style, they fit into any bride’s beauty look. A side French braided do gathered into a low bun is simple and chic for the casual bride. A retro beehive updo is spiced up with two criss-crossing braids as a headband while the original milk maid braids create an angelic halo that can be taken down to form loose waves.

Twisted front pieces keep hair out of your face and hide bangs that you might be wanting to grow out and gives an elegant look. To recreate this look side part hair, section off the front pieces, create a low ponytail and secure into a messy braided bun then french twist the front and pin into the bun.

Twisted and braided half up/half down hair styles are casual yet dressy and are perfect for your bridesmaids to wear. Braided crowns or twisted rolls are good options to be able to let the rest of your hair down in waves or curls. These looks work well with all hair types and will stay put from your first dance through your last.
