Alicia and Dylan’s bohemian wedding took place at the rustic Moroccan-inspired Korakia Pensione, a beautiful outdoor venue in Palm Springs. The bridal party was dressed in mint and mauve dresses with custom touches for each girl, like a shawl or gloves. Alicia dressed up her gown with a long-sleeve lace bolero and a thin glitter belt. To accessorize she wore dangling gold earrings and an embellished stretch headband to compliment her sleek and simple updo. The bridesmaids had an eclectic flare wearing a variety of styled braids. Their beauty looks had a 60′s influence with feminine romantic softness. These hair and makeup looks are classic but with a fun edge as well.
It’s great to see each person’s personality shine through, that’s why we love to customize looks for each girl. It makes the day that much more special for everyone involved. Your bridal party gets to feel pampered and pretty too!

Ivanka Trump was a classic, sophisticated, and elegant bride in her yards of lace, white flowers and classic beauty look. A neutral makeup palette of rich browns with a touch of warm golden peach created an effortless glow with emphasis on eyes and beautiful skin.
It’s important to look and feel like yourself on your wedding day, stick to colors you would normally wear just amped up to show off your features. The same goes for hair, pick a hair style that is classic and still very much you. Ivanka’s hair is sleek, smooth and understated yet glamorous. You want to look back at your pictures and be glad you look like the most beautiful version of you and not what was trending at the moment. Make sure to have a trial run so that you can try on different hair and makeup styles. We love getting to know our brides-to-be at trials and helping you find your most perfect look.

Hannah and Derrick held their romantic ceremony and reception at the scenic Sea Cliff Country Club in Huntington Beach. The soft color palette of grey, white and pastels created the perfect backdrop for such a beautiful occasion.
Hannah was such a wonderful bride to work with, we had such a great time helping her and her bridal party get all dolled up. For her hair, Hannah wanted a softly textured side-chignon that would compliment her chic hair floral piece. A neutral makeup palette and focus on her porcelain skin was all it took to enhance her beauty.
It’s truly rewarding to be a part of a bride’s day, we’re always so happy and excited to see the finished product of something that took lots of work and love to make come true.
Thanks Hannah and Derrick for letting us be a part of your day!

Your fiancee has got you seeing stars but unfortunately for your pale Winter skin, you aren’t seeing any sunshine through this gloomy weather. That’s okay because you can faux your bronze glow for the big day! Bronzed bridal beauty (try saying that 3 times fast!) looks are the most coveted from Spring and Summer brides simply because they outwardly show how they’re feeling inside, warm, glowing and like a million sparkling diamonds! Are we right?
Celebrities also love this look for the exact same reason. And we have the perfect inspiration for all you Spring/Summer brides, right here. Blondes, brunettes and redheads alike all want a little added color come warmer weather. The best way to achieve this is by customizing a beautiful bronze, contoured look just for you. We love to sculpt and shape the face using just the right shade of bronzing powder and luminous highlighters for your skin tone to achieve that perfect glow. This allows your gorgeous features to spring forward with luminescence. Peaches and corals are the perfect on-trend colors to add a pop of color onto cheeks and lips to finish this radiant bridal look.
Adding some caramel or blonde highlights onto face-framing fringe will work in-tune with this beauty look, softening the face and adding a casual “I-just-came-from-the-beach-and-my-hair-just-happens-to-look-this-good” vibe.
How will you be showing off your inner-glow on your wedding day?

Fresh, vibrant, and romantic are just some of the ways we would describe the vibe at this inspired shoot. It was made posible by the collaboration of several talented vendors that got together in Solvang for Jen Huang’s workshop. We were honored to be a part of this photographer’s workshop that took place in such a beautiful landscape and with such lovely models!
This shoot took place on a private open-air estate filled with this gorgeous color palette and wonderful natural surroundings. The color combination of both bright and neutral mixed with antique details creates a stunning contrast of both feminine and rustic, don’t you think? And those florals are to die for!
Jess and Brad were a dream to work with. They have such a chemistry between them that truly speaks louder than words. For Jess’s hair we wanted to create a polished look with an edge of fun texture. We went with a slightly asymmetrical updo that started with a crimped side-part that flowed into a rope-like twist and connected to a textured bun. We loved the finished look! For her makeup we made use of the vibrant colors used through out the shoot. We went with a bold lip in none other than the color of the year, tangerine! To really make her gorgeous eyes pop we added a bit of smolder in the form of a soft, silvery lavender. We were inspired by the naturally-growing lavender bushes that surrounded us. A hint of pink-infused peach blush completed her look. Delicate and dainty with a dash of Victorian elegance! So inspiring!

Aren’t these these two the cutest lovebirds?
Vickie came to us wanting a soft and natural down-to-earth beauty look for her nature-inspired outdoors engagement shoot. We defined her eyes with with black liner and customized a lash look that would enhance her beautiful eyes. A soft whisper of blush with a matching hint of color on her lips kept her lok casual and pretty. For her hair, Vickie wanted flexibility. We made that possibile by allowing her to have it both up for some pictures and then being able to take it down herself later. Soft waves were all the texture her hair needed for this breath-taking shoot that spoke for itself.
Congrats Vickie and Kirk!

Attention all Spring fashionista brides, tangerine is the essential bold lipstick color for Spring! Tangerine is the color of the year and it makes for a fantastic lip color on a bride. If you’re looking to make a statement with more than those fab designer heels you’re wearing when you walk down the aisle, choose a statement orange lip for your beauty look.Any variation of this on-trend color, whether bright coral, red-orange or punch-y grapefruit will look beautiful on any skin tone form fair to dark.
Matte is the way to wear this bright citrus color. Bold brows and natural, almost naked eye makeup should accompany this look to make sure the lip stays the focus of your look. This color looks great as a pop of color with neutral wedding color palettes, it’s fun and fashionable.
Hope this look inspires you this season!

Happy Monday! Who doesn’t love a celebrity bride right? This series will feature lovely celeb bridal beauty to inspire and help brides-to-be decide on their makeup and hair style. Today we’re featuring the beautiful Hilary Duff. Her bridal look can be described as romantic chic. Her completed look is polished and pretty with an effortless feel.

Makeup: Hilary’s eye makeup is subtle but with a slightly smoldering effect. A shimmering taupe eyeshadow is generally flattering color and perfect for bridal makeup. A full set of individual lashes will help open the eyes and add a touch of glamour. Highlighting and contouring is crucial for glowing skin and beautiful features. This will not only look breath-taking in person but also in photographs. A posey pink lip finishes this bridal beauty look.
Hair: Oh, the bridal ballerina bun, so pretty. For hair, Hilary went with a high and full, slightly messy bun with a veil anchored underneath. There’s the right amount of volume at the crown and texture through out. This hair style is chic and compliments any bridal gown.

It’s definitely the season of the updo with the top knot and sock bun taking the lead. Whether it’s a bit messy like Olivia Wilde’s, sleek and smooth like Rooney Mara’s, or perfectly textured like Tina fey’s, the updo was all over the red carpet this Oscar season. At pre and post Oscar parties celebrities showed off their perfectly coiffed high fashion dos. These updos transfer seamlessly from the red carpet to down the aisle. Add a veil or embellished head piece for that extra dose of bridal sparkle.

Always the leader in updos, Jennifer Lopez sets the standard for sky high styles. This look is sleek and sophisticated and simple enough to go with any gown. Rock some dazzling dangle earrings with this hair style for optimum shine exposure. On the other hand, we have Emma Stone’s low textured ’do with high gloss strands and a side-parted swooping fringe. it’s a more down-to-earth look that still evokes drama and suits a formal occasion.

For those that can’t decide whether they’d like to wear their hair up or down, there’s always the half-up ‘do. This hair style marries a twisted, pinned or up-swept look with loose, tousled waves or curls. It allows for volume at the crown while showing off flowing strands, the best of both worlds! Adorn your half-up hair style with a pretty brooch or headband if you’re opting out of a veil.
Old Hollywood is always a major inspiration for red carpet beauty looks. This season the faux bob from the 20′s and 30′s made it’s mark on Milla Jovovich, Selena Gomez, and Penelope Cruz. The illusion of a bob is achieved by curling and tucking in the bottom layer of hair and creating face-framing S waves. This beautiful vintage look makes for a classic bridal look and works great on hair that is already short or on longer hair with out having to cut inches off.
